Not set yet — and I'd rather say so than guess.
Folii isn't launched. Putting a number on this page today would mean inventing one before a single practice has told me what the thing is worth to them, and then defending it afterwards. So here is what's actually true instead.
Founding practices: free for the first year.
10 places. In return, we ask for:
- Roughly half an hour of feedback a week for the first three months
- One real project run through Folii
- Honest input about what works and what doesn't
After that first year, founding practices keep founding pricing for as long as they stay — not an introductory rate that expires, and not a discount that quietly lapses on renewal.
The number itself gets set with those ten practices, and published here before anyone is asked to pay anything. Nobody will be surprised by an invoice.
What it will be based on.
The size of the practice, and nothing else. Every plan carries the whole product — what changes between them is how many people are writing to the library, not how much of it they get.
Small practice
1–5 people
Set with the founding practices
The whole of Folii, and unlimited clients, consultants and contractors on every project.
Practice
6–15 people
Set with the founding practices
The same, for a practice large enough that the library starts compounding faster than any one person can read it.
Larger practice
16 or more

We'd rather learn what a larger team actually needs than pretend every practice needs an enterprise plan.
On every plan
- The full practice library — plants, products, materials, precedents, details, specifications
- Palettes, reviews and project history
- Unlimited clients, consultants and contractors
- Full export of everything you put in
Clients aren't buying Folii — they're participating in your project. The same goes for the consultants and contractors you invite. None of them is a seat.
And four things it will never be.
No charge for client seats
Invite as many clients, consultants and contractors to a project as it has. Charging per person would make you ration the thing the product is for.
No per-project fee
A practice shouldn't have to think about software cost when deciding whether to set up a small job properly.
No paying to leave
Full export of everything you put in, on every plan, at any time. The argument for staying should be that it's useful.
No selling your record
Nothing identified to your practice ever reaches a manufacturer, and library position is never purchasable. How your data is held →
Ten practices are shaping what this becomes.
Including, as it happens, what it costs.
